It's simple, on August 20 2011, we are going to make history and break the
record for the World's Largest Dodgeball Game ever on Belle Isle in Detroit, MI.
The record is 3,500, the question is will you be part of history?
Dodgeball in the D will bring thousands of children, parents, young professionals, and civic leaders together for a record breaking event. After-school programs, non-profits, local businesses and national brands will have the opportunity to showcase a diverse menu of what's driving the rebirth of Detroit.
Dodgeball in the D will feature unique vendors, information booths, and entertainment in the form of five "Xperiences" zones.
After-School Programs
Parents and students will have the opportunity to ask questions and sign up for hundreds of programs onsite
Non-Profit
Attendees will have access to opportunities that allows them to self-select their contribution to Detroit's rebirth
Health & Wellness
Free screenings, immunizations, health literature and access to healthcare providers to promote an active and healthy lifestyle
Family Fun Zone
Free food, inflatable, games and other activities to ensure a fun experience for kids of all ages and families
Sports Zone
Participatory games, displays, clinics and product testing
The day will culminate with the breaking of the World Record for the largest Dodgeball game EVER!
